Venture crew 272 is a newly formed crew out of Milford Michigan. We currently have less than 10 members and we are searching for more. If you are interested please conact us or show up at one of our meetings. We will provide you with an application.
Venturing is a program by the Boy Scouts of America designed for men and women who are over the age of 14 up to the age of 20. Venturing (formerly the explore program) was offically started in 1998 and is now the fastest growing program in Boy Scouts. The purpose is to provide leadership skills and to help mature young people. Venturing is based on relationships between youth, adult leaders, and community organizations. Venturing is what the crew makes it. The imagination of the crew members is the only limit. Activities can range from climbing a mountian to white water rafting. We meet on every third tuesday of every month at The Milford Presbyterian Church. Meetings start around 7pm and generally last until 8:30pm.
